The best interests of the child come first

Every academic, administrative, disciplinary, health or safety decision concerning a pupil gives priority to the child’s dignity, safety, development and right to be heard according to age.

Child protection

Code of conduct, violence prevention, confidential reporting, safer recruitment and responsible handling of concerns.

School health

Prevention, first aid, allergy monitoring, authorised medication, medical referrals and protected records.

Access control

Visitor identification, sensitive zones, authorised persons and verification when children are released.

Emergency plans

Accidents, fires, earthquakes, evacuation, intrusion, communicable diseases and a missing child.

Hygiene and sanitary facilities

Kindergarten has its own sanitary facilities adapted to young children. In Primary School, girls’ and boys’ facilities are separate and organised in accordance with hygiene, privacy and safety requirements.

Secure release of children

No child is released to an unauthorised person. The digital ecosystem includes named badges, temporary limited-use QR codes, verification by a staff member and notification to the parent. Biometrics is never the only verification method.

Confidentiality: medical, disciplinary and family information is accessible only to authorised personnel. ÉMINA may explain a general procedure without revealing a personal record.

Reporting and support

Protection concerns may be reported through accessible, confidential channels. ÉMINA may help describe facts and direct the user to authorised adults; she does not investigate, confront people or close an incident alone.
